Brett N. Steenbarger, Ph.D. is Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He is also a trader in the equities markets and highly regarded consultant to traders in proprietary, hedge fund, and investment bank settings.

Dr. Steenbarger has authored The Psychology of Trading (Wiley, 2003), Enhancing Trader Performance (Wiley, 2006), The Daily Trading Coach (Wiley, 2009), Trading Psychology 2.0: From Best Practices to Best Processes (Wiley, Sep 2015), as well as over 50 peer-reviewed professional publications in psychology and psychiatry. He maintains an archive of free articles and research at www.brettsteenbarger.com and writes a daily blog on market psychology at www.traderfeed.blogspot.com.

Daniel Egger, Ph.D. is Director of the Center for Quantitative Modeling (CQM), Pratt School of Engineering, Duke University, and is currently teaching graduate level Engineering Management courses in: Data Mining, Optimization, and Data Visualization, New Opportunities in Big Data, Computational Finance, and Advanced Financial Engineering.

Recent consulting clients include: Lazard Asset Management and Russell Investments – Cross-Sectional Dispersion and Active Manager Excess Returns; Deutsche Bank – Dispersion and Cohesion in Worldwide Equity Market Returns; AdviseStream (Duke spinout acquired in 2014) – a predictive analytics project, and InvestiQuant - analysis of active trading ensembles. Dr. Egger is also the inventor of fundamental Internet enabling technologies licensed to all major commercial search engines.

Stanley Dash holds the position of vice president of applied technical analysis at TradeStation, where he heads the TradeStation Labs initiative. Mr. Dash and his group support active and institutional traders with analytical tools and education designed to help them be more effective traders.
